Tilt, rotation, compass heading and shake, read live from the sensors in your phone or tablet. Open this on the device you want to test, not on a desktop: a machine with no accelerometer will simply report nothing, which is correct rather than broken.

What a web page can and cannot see
so you know what these numbers are worth- iOS needs a tap and HTTPS. Safari will not deliver motion or orientation until you press the button above and accept, and it refuses entirely on plain HTTP. Android delivers them without a prompt.
- Readings are rate-limited on purpose. Browsers cap sensor delivery, typically around 60Hz, because a high-rate accelerometer stream can be used to fingerprint a device and even infer typing. What you see is the throttled feed.
- Compass needs calibration and hates metal. If the heading drifts or sticks, wave the device in a figure of eight away from magnets, laptops and car dashboards. That is the magnetometer, not this page.
- Vibration is Android only. iOS Safari does not implement navigator.vibrate at all, so test 03 will say so by name rather than looking broken.
Tilt and compass
Lay the device flat and the horizon should sit level. Tip it and the horizon should follow smoothly. Turn on the spot and the compass should track, lagging slightly is normal.
